NESBIT ORDERS NEW PRODUCT DRIVERMAX-CX FROM MIRENCO TO SAVE FUEL
RADCLIFFE, Iowa--(MARKET WIRE)—October 13, 2004--Mirenco, Inc., (OTCBB:MREO) announces that Fred Nesbit Distributing Company, Inc., Iowa’s largest distributor of Anheuser – Busch products within Central Iowa, has ordered the newly developed DriverMax-CX product especially designed for digitally controlled diesel engines. Nesbit has been using DriverMax® on its entire delivery truck fleet since May 2004.
“Our delivery trucks with DriverMax® have been experiencing between 8-12% in diesel fuel savings. Our new trucks with Caterpillar engines will be arriving soon, so we wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to immediately purchase the DriverMax-CX for them once we heard about the success of the prototypes,” stated Art Sween, Nesbit Controller. The new DriverMax-CX technology is scheduled to be installed on Nesbit trucks this November.
Like so many delivery fleets with ‘stop and go’ routes, the increase in fuel prices have dramatically affected their bottom-line. “The cost of fuel is one of our largest expenditures and it seems as though it just keeps getting worse. The DriverMax® technology is a patented automated fuel management system that matches fuel flow with fuel demand to allow an engine to operate as efficiently as possible.
