Board of Directors
Mirenco’s Board of Directors consists of 4 members: one of which is in
management—Dwayne Fosseen —and three from outside the Company. The three outside members are Don
Williams, a major investor, Tim Neugent, who has significant marketing
expertise, and Merlin “Mert” Hanson, who brings significant SEC reporting and
compliance expertise to the Board.
Donald Williams is a lifelong resident of Williams, Iowa. He has been involved in the grain
business and is a major producer of livestock.
Mr. Williams has also been associated with real estate as a licensed
associate. He has served as an
officer of the County Farm Bureau Board, Heart of Iowa Realtors Board, and the
County Compensation and Extension Board.
A director of the Company since June 1, 1998, Don is also a veteran of
the Korean War.
Tim Neugent has an extensive background in sales and marketing. Through his sales and marketing
endeavors, Tim brings to Mirenco a wealth of knowledge and a large network of
Iowa contacts he has established over the years.
He is an entrepreneur and was awarded in 1996, the “Ernst & Young
Entrepreneur of the Year” which acknowledged his successes as founder of several
companies. Tim has recently
established a successful consulting company which focuseses on marketing for
Fortune 500 companies such as Harley-Davidson, Ford, GMC, Honda and others. He is currently Chairman of the Small
Business Development Group for Des Moines Chamber/Partnership and has been
involved with many charitable and economic development organizations.
Merlin “Mert” Hanson, who resides in Des Moines, brings to Mirenco his
financial expertise as well as a solid network of individuals within Iowa with
who he has business relationships. Mert
was a partner at the nation’s eighth largest accounting firm, McGaldrey &
Pullen, and has worked for this prominent firm for more than 30 years. He has in-depth knowledge of SEC
regulations and extensive experience with public offerings and SEC reporting
requirements. Mert has served on many
charitable and economic development organizations, including the Golden Circle
Business Center and the Golden Circle Loan Guaranty Fund. He was a consultant to the Iowa Department
of Economic Development and was Past Chairman of Goodwill International.
Management
Mirenco’s management team is highly experienced in the areas of mature companies
and in developing organizations.
Each member of the team brings specific expertise in their area as well as
diversified business experience.
Dwayne Fosseen, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of
Directors, has been involved in many entrepreneurial ventures which have all
evolved into creating Mirenco.
Glynis Hendrickson, Chief Financial Officer has 11 years of experience in
the accounting field.
Daniel Bina, Chief Operating Officer and Senior Engineer, who has
a diverse background in chemical and mechanical engineering has five years of
experience in combustion management.
