Mirenco Names Debbie Pickard Chief Financial Officer
Radcliffe, IA – Mirenco, Inc. (OTCBB: MREO) announced
today the appointment of Debbie Pickard as Chief Financial Officer. As CFO, she
will report to Dwayne Fosseen, Chairman and CEO and immediately assume all
corporate finance, accounting, tax, and internal audit responsibilities for the
firm.
"Debbie is a welcome addition to Mirenco’s executive management team," said Mr.
Fosseen. "Her previous experience and familiarity with the operations and
finances of Mirenco makes her selection as CFO a natural choice and will assure
a smooth management transition."
Prior to assuming the CFO position, Ms. Pickard provided consulting services to
the finance and accounting department at Mirenco. She has over 18 years
experience in corporate auditing and accounting and has held a variety of
finance positions in the transportation, agriculture, investment, and health
care industries. She previously worked as an internal auditor at Iowa State
University. She has also served as office manager of Shenandoah Memorial
Hospital (Shenandoah, Iowa); controller with Farmer’s National Company (Omaha,
Nebraska); and staff auditor at KPMG Peat Marwick, (Omaha, Nebraska).
Ms. Pickard received a B.S. from the University of Nebraska, Omaha for her
studies in business administration with an accounting emphasis. She earned her
CPA in 1984. She and her family live in State Center, Iowa.
