Mirenco Holds New GPS Vehicle Tailpipe Patent 

Radcliffe, IA - Mirenco (OTCBB: MREO) is pleased to announce on April 9, 2002 the United States Patent and Trademark Office granted patent number 6,370,472 to Mirenco for the "Method and apparatus for reducing unwanted vehicle emissions using satellite navigation." Mirenco Chairman and CEO, Dwayne Fosseen remarked, "This patent will strengthen our previous U.S. Patent No. 5,315,977 and enable us to pursue the license of patent rights to the OEM vehicle manufacturers and the automotive aftermarket industry." In addition, this group of patents based on vehicle emissions using satellite navigation will further advance Mirenco’s combustion management program. Mr. Fosseen also commented, "Combustion management, the art of controlling engine fuel flow in relation to real time engine combustion deterioration, is going to gain a lot more consideration in the near future."

The simple and proactive solution is through the control of fuel flow prior to combustion and the production of tailpipe emissions. Mirenco’s programmable fuel flow computer measures the vehicle’s tailpipe emission level and the vehicle’s performance in real time. Combining this technology with the global positioning satellite (GPS) system, a vehicle understands the amount of fuel needed to precisely anticipate horsepower requirements and the engine’s combustion capability well ahead of the vehicles need for the fuel. This results in less fuel consumed and lower tailpipe emissions.
