Mirenco, BEEP Complete Filming for Public Television

RADCLIFFE, IA—September 9, 2002—Mirenco, Inc. is pleased
to announce that it has begun production of the video segment for the public
television series, American Environmental Review.
American Environmental Review is an editorial program hosted by Morley Safer
that takes an inside look at new and innovative products and technologies that
aid the environment. The program will highlight Mirenco’s partnership in the Bus
Emissions Education Program (BEEP), an effort by Iowa schools to improve the
environment through the education of vehicle combustion and fuel management on
diesel school buses.
In the segment, Dwayne Fosseen, Mirenco CEO, discusses the application of
Mirenco’s DriverMax technology for use in emissions control and fuel management
on Iowa’s 4500 diesel school buses.
Also interviewed in the piece are Troyce Fisher, Executive Director of the
School Administrators of Iowa (SAI) and Brian Button, Air Information Specialist
for the Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DNR). Both SAI and the Iowa DNR
are partners in the Bus Emission Education Program.
American Environmental Review is independently produced and distributed to the
350 public television stations nationwide. Individual stations air the series
between regularly scheduled PBS shows and may run the program whenever and as
often as they wish. An estimated 50 millions Americans will view the piece which
will be aired later this fall in October. The series can also be seen
internationally on WorldNet, part of Voice of America Television.
