Mirenco Joins Global Communications with Real Time Sensor and Translator System
RADCLIFFE, Iowa -- November 30, 2006 -- Mirenco, Inc., (OTCBB:MREO) announces
that they have successfully completed the development of a universal, Real Time
Sensor and Translator System to report fuel usage through wireless
Communications.
“A major industrial client, Rogers Group, Inc. (www.rogersgroupinc.com) was
looking for a way to measure fuel usage on a real time basis,” says Dwayne
Fosseen, Mirenco’s CEO. “The client was already working with Qualcomm’s
GlobalTRACS Division (www.qualcomm.com).
Our challenge was to develop an economical method of measuring fuel flow,
translating and communicating the information immediately. During initial
tests, Mirenco’s Translator successfully communicated the fuel usage to within a
very fine tolerance.”
“This is a significant breakthrough,” says Fosseen. “With the translator we
have developed, we can add other sensors to monitor the performance of the air
filter, fuel filter or other engine components that influence combustion. These
can be transmitted very efficiently through the same channel on a wireless or
global satellite communication system.”
